School Description
The University of California, Los Angeles' student body is among the most diverse undergraduate student bodies in the U.S. More than one-third of UCLA undergraduates participate in programs that have transformed the nation's environment, economy, social policy, public education and health care.

Five UCLA faculty members have been awarded Nobel Prizes, more than 300 have received Fulbright Scholarships and over 270 have been awarded Guggenheim Fellowships.

The library at UCLA houses more than seven million volumes and significant, unique collections of literature. The film and video archive is second in size only to the Library of Congress.
